There has been no major updates in relation to the West Dalhousie / Long Lake Wildfire since my last post I published yesterday.
I’ve been in between my work shifts and catching up on sleep, which is vitally important.
I plan to put a post up this evening or early tomorrow morning with an overview to date of this complex operation, which is ongoing, out of control and estimated at 8,234 hectares.
Due to prior commitments all day tomorrow, I will be unavailable to provide any updates, reply to any messages or emails pertaining to the wildfire in West Dalhousie.
I understand many have been relying on my page for timely updates, many have still been evacuated and are relying on these to be informed.
I highly suggest following the Nova Scotia Government, Firefighters Of Nova Scotia, Dahl Dispatch, Annapolis REMO -Regional Emergency Management Organization for important items and updates pertaining to the current wildfire.
You can also source Department of Natural Resources on Twitter / X for updates, DNR is the agency of jurisdiction.
These pages listed are official & credible sources, ones in which I recommend when sourcing for accurate information in relation to the Long Lake Fire.
I apologize for the inconvenience and I appreciate everyone’s understanding.
