I felt today was the perfect opportunity to highlight our good friend Mr. Griff, who has hung up his harness and retired from the RCMP Police Dog Services.
Griff’s vital services and contributions will certainly be remembered and appreciated, not only by his handler, Sneddon, but also by the greater community in which he has served.
Over the years, Griff has played a crucial role in public safety, missing persons cases, among many other police operations.
Griff and Sneddon were heavily involved in the West Hants Floods in 2023 and this notable service is something special to recognize.
Happy National Dog Day to all of our furry friends who provide comfort and love everyday, as well as to those who cherish them!
