There was extreme fire conditions yesterday afternoon and into the evening as smoke blanketed the Annapolis Valley and many other areas of the province from the West Dalhousie / Long Lake Wildfire.
This photo was taken by Dawna Graham yesterday evening around 813PM on a flight back from Vancouver to Halifax.
It’s really hard to really decipher what we’re seeing here but this photo really shows how difficult it is to see know how much of an area is impacted, with how much smoke was coming up.
Hoping for improved fire conditions today for aircraft, firefighters and heavy equipment crews.
