Kings County has renewed the State of Local Emergency for the next 7-days through until Monday, October 13th, or until the emergency is over, due to the ongoing wildfire in the Lake George area and in support of the evacuations.
The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) has established a Reception Centre/Emergency Shelter at the Louis Millett Centre in New Minas.
