Annapolis District RCMP charge man for impaired driving in Middleton:

On November 27 at approximately 10:35 p.m. an Annapolis District RCMP officer, while conducting proactive enforcement on School St., observed a man in a grey BMW who was showing signs of impairment. 

The man, who was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, provided a breath sample into a roadside screening device. The result was a “fail.” The officer safely arrested the man for impaired operation and transported him to the Middleton RCMP Detachment. The man then provided two breath samples of 130 mg% and 120 mg%.

The 23-year-old man of Wilmot has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance and Impaired Operation of a Conveyance Exceeding 80 mg%. He is scheduled to appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on March 2.
