Fire Station broken into in Annapolis County

Local News

Annapolis County Fire Department victim of break in and theft of vital equipment:

From the Port Lorne and District Volunteer Fire Department Chief Herman Plehn:

“I’m very disappointed and disgusted, our fire hall was broken into last night. They came in and went through our trucks, taking our stihl chain saw, the stihl K saw and the Milwaukee saw. Our gas jug off the rescues as well. At this point that is all we have noticed missing. Not to mention now we need to replace a window.”

Not only does the theft of this equipment impact the operations of any fire department it can also heavily impacting budgets for members and training.

If anyone has any information regarding this incident you are encouraged to reach out to the Annapolis District RCMP.
