Annapolis Royal Firefighters, Department of Natural Resources & multiple neighbouring firefighters worked hard to get ahead of a wildfire in Moschelle today.
The fire is burning between Highway 201 and Highway 101, with smoke visible from multiple areas late this afternoon.
Fire crews have since made lots of headway to control the fast moving wildfire that was located in a heavily wooded area.
Department of Natural Resources helicopter was on site making multiple water drops around fire crews that were working hose-lines in the woods late this afternoon.
There are no immediate homes threatened at this time and it is expected that crews will be returning to put out remaining hot spots tomorrow.
