The delayed start for schools has been a topic of discussion for sometime. It was quite interesting to read the different perspectives on the subject from those within the community!
Earlier this week on Tuesday, January 20th, I posted a poll on my page getting a plethora of feedback.
The question was, how do you like the delayed start that the school board has now started using?
Exactly 1,626 different followers submitted their vote from the following options:
🟡 72% of voters agreed that most of the time, roads haven’t improved when children are picked up by the bus.
🟢 15% of voters feel it’s alright but it causes a-lot of inconvenience in the morning hours.
🔴 13% of voters feel that if the roads improve in time they would like to see their children get the class time and are okay with the delayed start.
⚠️ Please Note: This was open to the public and was intended for community discussion. I understand there are more factors to play like future weather conditions, school activities, student and driver safety.
