Many of you may recall the story I did back in June about Joel Neily, who is a firefighter in Kentville Fire, battling a firefighting-related cancer.
We all wanted to do something to help Joel and the family, with ideas pitched to me from fellow firefighters, Jeremy and I worked together to make this project possible.
With support from my calendar supplier Brad Beardsley and his donation of 200 calendars on behalf of Staples, along with his design time and photos provided by photographer Brian Taylor & Allan Cosman and the trust from Jeremy and Joel, we were able to pull off this Kentville Fire Calendar together to support one of their own!
All proceeds from the sales from these calendars will be donated directly back to KVFD Firefighter/Engineer Joel Neily and his family.
Joel is still actively undergoing treatment for a firefighting-related cancer.
The calendars are priced at $15 each, with cash payments accepted only.
They can be picked up at the Kentville Fire Station Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm and Monday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.
