Canada Day festivities are right around the corner! Celebrating responsibly and not driving while impaired is one thing you should plan for this Canada Day.
On a daily basis, police officers are charging and arresting motorists for impaired driving in our province. These offences don’t just happen at night, but are also occurring early in the morning and in the middle of the day.
Impaired driving continues to happen locally at alarming numbers.
In 2020, it was reported that impaired driving accidents accounted for 1 in 4 deaths Canada wide.
Impaired driving and serious collisions are on the rise and the consequences are devastating.
Please plan ahead, get a ride, and don’t drive impaired.
