Many back roads, particularly in Annapolis County, are described to be a sheet of ice at this hour.  Vehicles are reported to be off the road along Highway 221 outside Middleton due to icy road conditions.  This photo was taken along Lily Lake Road outside Gates Mountain this afternoon.  Adrian J.

Hazardous conditions and accidents being reported

Roads are quite hazardous just before midnight for most of the Annapolis Valley.  There have been a number of motor vehicle accidents reported this evening.  Roads are primarily snow covered on many backroads and higher terrain, warm temps are making for a slushy mix!  Drive with care.  Adrian J.
