Snow impacting conditions before midnight

Heavy wet snow is falling across much of the valley just before midnight, creating snow covered roads!  Salt trucks are out, main drags appear partially covered, while many back roads are completely covered.  Drive safe if your out late this evening, next report first thing in the AM.  Adrian J.

Freezing rain impacting Annapolis Valley

Freezing rain has certainly made its mark on vegetation near the West Brooklyn Rd overpass near Avonport.  Road conditions are moderate in most areas with some slush on backroads.  Just traveled from the Halifax to Kings and it was smooth sailing, with multiple plows out.  Drive safe 🙂  Adrian J.
