Earlier this afternoon, Brooklyn Firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire along Highway 101 in Garlands Crossing.
Firefighters arrived on scene to a fully involved pick-up truck on fire, on the side of the highway.
West Hants District RCMP assisted with shutting down Highway 101 heading towards the valley so fire crews could safely work to extinguish the fire.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
The vehicle was removed by Matt’s Towing and the highway was re-opened a short time later.
