Long Lake fire in West Dalhousie now estimated at 300 hectares, out of control. About 3 km from West Dalhousie Rd, 42 homes evacuated.
DNR and 2 contracted helicopters working on both fires. Crews putting dozer guard around West Dalhousie Community Centre and 2 communication towers
Hoyt Lake fire still estimated at 1 hectare, 7 DNR firefighters on scene. Aircraft also supporting. Next update late afternoon.
