This remains a very active fire at this hour, DNRR Staff alongside Bridgetown firefighters were in the area this evening.
Due to the location and fire conditions crews were not able to begin suppression efforts by ground.
Aircraft is expected to attack the fire by morning with additional resources.

Forest Fire Alert Issued by the Department of Natural Resources.
West Dalhousie Rd in West Dalhousie, Annapolis County from the Morse Rd to the community centre at 4868 West Dalhousie Rd.
Be advised that there is a wildfire in the Godfrey Lake area and residents should be prepared in the event an evacuation notice is given.
This is NOT an evacuation notice. Be prepared to evacuate in the event of a change in the fire’s behaviour.
