⚠️ West Dalhousie / Long Lake Wildfire:
Long Lake wildfire still out of control and has grown to estimated 1,000 hectares. Two contracted helicopters are supporting 57 DNR, 5 PEI and 49 local firefighters.
Four skimmers (802s) from NWT were still preparing today, not able work on fires.
They will start tomorrow. We are aiming to keep them in NS for at least a week.
