West Hants RCMP Detachment seized drugs and charged a woman after executing a search warrant in Windsor.
On August 1, Southwest Nova Street Crimes Enforcement Unit (SCEU) and general duty officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Stannus St. after a lengthy investigation. Several individuals were safely arrested. Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, money, and other evidence supporting drug trafficking.
As a result of the investigation, one person arrested is facing charges. Nicole Spence, 23, of Canning, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (two counts) under the Criminal Code, and several offences under the Nova Scotia Revenue Act (RA).
Spence was released from custody with a pending court date at Kentville Provincial Court. Several other people arrested at the time of the warrant execution were released without charges.
