🚫 Road closure Lovett Road, Brooklyn Corner.
Just a friendly reminder that the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works Bridge Crew is working on the Lovett Road Bridge that crosses over the Cornwallis River in Brooklyn Corner.
The bridge is located between Laurie Lane and Brooklyn Street on Lovett Road and is impacting motorists and residents who regularly commute through this area.
Lovett Road is closed and only open for local traffic while this important work is being completed.
Traffic is not able to access Highway 1 from Brooklyn Street or Brooklyn Street to Highway 1 while this work is being completed.
There are signs and a detour in place from Highway 1 to Cambridge Road and back on to Brooklyn Street to Lovett Road and vice versa.
The closure and detours began on Monday, July 14th and is expected take approximately two weeks to complete.
Please plan your routes accordingly.
