The removal of a fishing vessel which suffered significant damage following a fire earlier this week, was removed from the Harbourville Harbour today.
Crews from T & T Ocean & Repair, swiftly worked to extricate the damaged vessel from the harbour, deploying airbags during low tide.
The vessel was towed out to a nearby slip way and brought ashore by heavy equipment, which took a few hours during high tide.
Representatives with The Canadian Coast Guard were also on site for the removal of the vessel as it posed environmental risks to the coast.
This was quick work to ensure the boat was removed from the harbour limiting environmental concerns to the ocean.
