Department of Natural Resources crew and aircraft are responding to the wildfire in the Susies Lake area of Halifax. DNR helicopters and water bombers from New Brunswick are on scene, along with Halifax Fire and Emergency.
Please avoid the area and never operate drones near a wildfire — it’s illegal and can ground firefighting aircraft. Wildfire smoke is affecting local air quality.
