Evacuees set to return home to West Dalhousie

Local News

Today marks 39 days since wildfires in West Dalhousie were reported, following lightning that was impacting the Annapolis Valley and the immediate area.

It was 38 days ago today, that many immediate residents in the West Dalhousie community were evacuated, not realizing the extent of the evacuation.

Many who are able to return to their homes will be going back today, with the remaining evacuations being lifted.

We are wishing all those who are able to return all the best and continue to think of all those who lost their homes.
