The Department of Public Works bridge crew in Kings County has been working hard to replace a bridge along Greenfield Road in Greenfield.
The new bridge has been designed with concrete footings and one phase of the concrete was poured yesterday!
Despite there not being any water flowing through the area due to drought conditions, a temporary watercourse diversion was constructed as per Nova Scotia environment requirements.
Crews on site even have trucks filled with water and back tanks incase a fire might occur with the work being carried out on site.
