Some impressive photos from Aaron Sawler taken in Waterville between the hours of 3PM-5PM today as fire conditions intensified throughout the afternoon.
This fire is the same one that was reported last night in Lake George which was classified by DNR as “Being Held” and has been reverted to “Out of control.”
Conditions have intensified and crews have evacuated the fire zone while Quebec water bombers fight the fire from the air.
Evacuations are place in the Lake George area.
NWT Bombers were hitting the fire late this afternoon when fire conditions increased.
The fire has reached Aylesford Road this afternoon after being in a remote area and spreading to an area of 80 hectares this evening.
