Over the weekend, members with the Canadian Mountain Rescue Team and Brooklyn Volunteer Fire Department worked through some challenging scenarios.

Many of our first responders take their weekends to hone in on their skills, extra time outside of their scheduled training schedule.

Both scenarios involved a mock motor vehicle accident, while also using rope rescue techniques to safety access the vehicle and bring tools to perform extrication.

It’s always nice to see our first responders training for those low frequency high risk calls because you never know when they may occur.

Attached are some photos from the training exercises taken yesterday at OnTree in Martock.
