Stolen property and woman arrested following search warrant in Coldbrook

Kings District RCMP has recovered stolen property and arrested a woman after executing a search warrant at a residence in Coldbrook.

On January 29, Kings District RCMP received a report of a break and enter into a construction trailer on Randolph Rd. in Cambridge. Industrial lights and a tool were believed to have been taken during the incident, which occurred on January 26.

A suspect vehicle, a red Toyota RAV-4, was identified on video surveillance and later located at a residence on Cumberland Dr. in Coldbrook.

On January 31, Kings District RCMP officers, with assistance of the Kings District General Investigation Section and the Southwest Nova Street Crime Enforcement Unit, executed a search warrant at the home. Officers safely arrested a woman and recovered the industrial lights along with other construction tools.

The 31-year-old woman of Coldbrook was released pending an appearance in Kentville Provincial Court on March 10. She’s expected to face a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (under $5000).
