Three years ago today, Annapolis Royal Firefighters, with mutual aid assistance from numerous volunteer fire departments attended a structure fire in Upper Clements.
The haunted house that was on the former Upper Clements Adventure Park property had fallen victim to a suspicious fire in the early hours.
Fire crews worked all morning to get a handle on the fire that was burning inside the iconic stone building. The stone structure was ultimately torn down due to safety concerns.
The fire was being treated as suspicious at the time and anyone with information was encouraged to contact the Annapolis District RCMP.
Many valley residents still recall fond memories from the park, including the haunted house.
