Yesterday afternoon, Kingston Firefighters were dispatched to a report of a woods fire in Greenwood Square.
On arrival, crews found a fire that worked its way down a ditch into a wooded area, burning along the roadway. Firefighters quickly surrounded the fire.
There were no immediate homes nearby and no exposures impacted. Traffic was reduced to one lane while crews worked to extinguish the fire.
