Construction work for the new Cambridge interchange continues as crews make headway towards Highway 1.
The bulk of the work on the North side of the Highway leading to Brooklyn Street and roundabouts on both sides of the highway are completed, more work still needs to be done when the time comes.
Crews will work to connect a crucial entrance to the Annapolis Valley First Nations, providing residents a second exit in the event of an emergency.
Work is now taking place to create a road connecting the new exit and Highway 1.
I don’t know all the details but crews will need to complete a few bridges between the new 101 interchange and Highway 1.
Pretty neat to see this work from overhead.
