Black ice across the Annapolis Valley

Local News
December 21, 2025December 22, 2025thevalleyeyephotography

Getting some reports of black ice along higher terrain this evening.

What is black ice?

Black ice is a thin, transparent layer of ice on a surface, such as a road or sidewalk, that is nearly invisible because it allows the dark pavement below to be seen through it.

Use caution and drive safe!
