This afternoon I stopped into Callister’s Country Kitchen with my good friend Ian Swinamer in support of Burger Wars for Campaign for Kids!
If you know me, you know I’m not one for trying new things, but today was certainly worth getting out of my comfort zone.
Callisters along with over 50 establishments in Annapolis, Hants and Kings Counties are taking part in the important campaign, fundraising money for kids in Kings County!
The smoky bacon cheddar burger, served with bacon, bacon cheddar, pickled onions, special sauce and seasoned beef patties, is a must try.
Never have I tried pickled onions or the homemade special sauce until today!
Over 250 burgers have been sold at Callister’s for Burger Wars to date. The campaign only started just 7 days ago, making this particular spot a hit so far.
With Each burger sold, $1 is donated back to kids in the community.
