The Cambridge Convenience store along Highway 1 in Cambridge has recieved a much needed and fresh makeover!
With the addition of their new entrance, which is now opened and completed, the parking lot was receiving it’s face lift this week!
Howard Little Excavating, paving crews were hard at work, completing the remainder of the parking lot this morning.
The full parking lot will be open within the next few days, with fresh paint to help visitors safely park. The addition is also including handicapped parking and better accessibility.
With this work being done, it will make entering Highway 1 safer with a gradual increase to the Highway from the parking lot.
Near the number 1 drag there is supposed to be a new bus shelter for those who commute by Kings Transit. This has unfortunately been delayed for some reason and the status of this is unknown at this time.
Most of us locals call this location “the store” it’s nice to see some upgrades that will positively impact customer experience while also providing a safe environment.
Each day hundreds if not thousands of people come to the store for necessities and has become a “go to” for many.
