Their Honours, The Honourable Mike Savage, ONS, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia and Ms. Darlene Savage, invited all Nova Scotians and visitors to Government House for the annual Garden Party in Halifax today.
Hundreds of people gathered in the gardens, socializing and sharing a beautiful afternoon outside government house.
Inspired by the Garden Parties of Buckingham Palace, the Lieutenant Governor’s Garden Party has been an annual event in Halifax for over 100 years.
The Lieutenant Governor’s Garden Party is open to the public. All Nova Scotians and visitors are welcome to attend.
This year’s theme celebrates the 60th anniversary of the National Flag of Canada.
