The remains are not related to any criminal investigation in Nova Scotia.

Many residents in the Morden area have reached out about human remains that have been recovered near the French Cross.
At this time, there is limited information but here is what RCMP could share via email today.
“On April 26, at approximately 12:10 p.m., Kings District RCMP responded to a report of human remains having been located in the area of Morden beach.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service is engaged. No further information is available to be released at this time.”
