MEDIA RELEASE: Kentville Police Service charge 2 men with robbery related offences
On July 3rd, the Kentville Police Service responded to a 911 call reporting a robbery in progress at a local gas station. The suspects fled the scene with a sum of money.
The Bridgewater Police Service quickly supported the operation by attending the scene with their K-9 Unit. Thanks to their coordinated efforts, the suspects were located swiftly, and the stolen money was recovered without further incident.
Both men are currently in custody and are scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court today, July 3rd.
Twenty-nine-year-old Jason Jesso-Hill of Kentville has been charged with:
• Robbery
Fourty-five-year old Leif Spilchen, no fixed address has been charged with:
• Robbery
• Obstruction
• Aiding and Abetting
