On July 24, 2025, the Kentville Police Service, in collaboration with Criminal Intelligence Nova Scotia and the Valley Street Crime Enforcement Unit, {both integrated units with the Kings RCMP) made an arrest in connection with an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. The arrest of a male suspect led to the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence in Kentville, Nova Scotia.
During the search, members seized a substantial quantity of cocaine, along with cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia. The street value of the seized cocaine is estimated at $4,500.00.
Brandon Steven Vaughan, aged 30, of Kentville, Nova Scotia, has been charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. He is set to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on September 23, 2025.
