⚠️ The Lake George wildfire is still out of control and now estimated at 290 hectares.
Department of Emergency Management and local fire department working on structure protection, no reports of damage. Further evacuations ordered by Kings County.
On scene are 23 DNR and 20 local firefighters, 4 NWT, 1 DNR and 2 contracted helicopters, and 18 pieces of heavy equipment building fire breaks. Next update late afternoon/early evening.
