⚠️ Lake Paul Wildfires – Final Update:
This will be my final update on the fires in Lake Paul unless something changes or there are new developments.
DNRR Staff along with volunteer firefighters will be returning tomorrow to continue to put out hot spots.
The 0.9 hectare wildfire is considered under control and the 1.9 hectare fire is being held.
Great work by all firefighters, aircraft & communications staff.
This was a highly remote fire on the fire roads, making fire efforts extremely tasking. Crews have managed to make impressive headway here days work.
