There are three large long-term care facilities currently under construction in the Annapolis Valley.

The Grandview Manor and Dykeland Lodge will both have 144 single roomed beds for residents. While the Mountain Lee Lodge will have 96 single roomed beds for residents.
All new and replacement builds are designed and built based on current best practices for resident and staff safety, as well as infection control.
Provincial standards mean each new long-term care room will be for one person and will include their own bathroom.
Currently, many nursing homes are not adequate for the needs of many staff and residents. These new facilities will be a huge boost to the senior population within our communities.
