⚠️ West Dalhousie / Long Lake Update:
No changes in the size of 3210 hectares from this morning and yesterday’s update.
Fire doesn’t appear to have grown since yesterday which is good news, but lots of work yet.
More detailed post on my end later today, firefighters along with aircraft making some good progress.
Sprinkler protection also remains in place and many local volunteer fire departments on site assisting.
Air resources include 4 NTW planes and 1 contracted helicopter. Ground resources include 93 DNR, 22 Ontario and 25 local firefighters.
Many agencies also assisting.
