At approximately 210AM this morning, Kings District RCMP, Greenwich Fire Department & EHS Paramedics attended a motor vehicle collision involving a transport truck and passenger vehicle in Greenwich.
Cpl. McCann, RCMP Public Information Officer, was able to confirm via email that two occupants of the hatchback reported injuries and were transported to hospital by EHS.
The driver (only occupant) of the transport truck did not report any injuries.
RCMP cannot speculate on any causes at this time and no charges have been laid at this time.
Fire services used a significant amount of floor dry to contain a large fuel spill from the transport truck involved. Department of Public Works also attended.
The road was closed along Highway 1 and the intersection of Hwy 358 until the scene was cleaned up.
