The province of Nova Scotia is urging members of the public to 🚫 NOT call 9-1-1 or police of jurisdiction, if you spot an illegal burn 🔥 or people not following the travel ban through woods
You are instructed to report violations to ☎️1-800-565-2224☎️ if you notice someone not following the current provincial burn ban and additional restrictions that have been implemented on travel through woods.
Fire departments across Nova Scotia do not have the means to safely enforce nor issue fines during the current fire ban 👨⚖️
