This week there have been additional attempts of thefts, thefts and damaged to property in Waterville, Berwick & Coldbrook and potentially other areas not listed.
This community mailbox was broken into along Black Rock Road in Waterville where residents mail was accessed.
I believe there was another mailbox that was also broken into but I’m unsure where. It might be good idea to check your mail regularly so yours doesn’t get compromised.
Further attempts to break into a commercial vehicle were also made in the area while items were stolen from a residential property in Berwick.
Additional reports of break ins to vehicles were reported in the Coldbrook area I believe overnight last night.
All these are unconfirmed but again very important for residents in our community to be made aware and to report any suspicious activity to police.
While many may disagree with reporting activity to the RCMP any type of report can lead to catching those responsible no matter how much information you may have.
It’s very unfortunate to hear these incidents continuing to happen, even so close to Christmas. I’d hate to see someone falling victim to someone else’s poor decisions.
