Results from Deed Tax Transfer Poll for Kings County

Community Local News

The Municipality of The County of Kings is considering implementing a Deed Tax Transfer.

Currently Kings is the only county who does not have one in all of Nova Scotia.

On September 4th I posted a poll looking for feedback from residents, these results are from this morning, September 16th and are as follows!

There were 2,205 votes in total about the Deed Tax Transfer (DTT) with lots of questions, concerns and conversation.

The question was as follows “Do you agree with the County of Kings implementing a Deed Tax Transfer?”

88% feel a DTT is not necessary, 8% need to learn more & 4% feel a DTT is necessary.

⚠️ Please Note:

Approximately 60% of my followers on this page reside in the County of Kings, these stats may not be completely accurate but with a deep analysis the majority of those who voted are Kings County residents.
