Snowy Winter?

Community

While there might not be any science to prove it, they do say hornets nest found high up mean a snowy winter!

I’ve heard many also say that they’ve seen nests low to the ground this year. This could also mean a mild winter but again it’s hard to say.

This nest looks inactive, potentially abandoned after the season ended.

It was spotted high up in Kentville this afternoon, chances are it was tucked behind an array of leaves over the summer and now exposed.

Only time will tell.
