In a hurry? Remember, RCMP officers are on Nova Scotia roadways day and night Kings County District RCMP officers recently charged two drivers in New Minas and Waterville with stunting:

πŸš— 20-year-old driver from Melvern Square, Kings County

πŸ“Έ Speed: 176 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone

πŸš— 19-year-old driver from Burlington

πŸ“Έ Speed: 177 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone

πŸ“‹ Both drivers were charged under Section 163(1) of the Motor Vehicle Act. The offence carries a $2,422.50 fine, an immediate 7-day licence suspension, and vehicle impoundment.

No matter the excuse, excessive speed puts everyone at risk.
