Kings District RCMP, along with the Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit (SWN MCU) and Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service, have found that criminality is not a factor in a sudden death reported in North Kentville.
On February 21 at approximately 9:00 a.m., RCMP officers responded to a report of a person found deceased on a trail in North Kentville. Upon arrival in the area, officers identified the deceased person as a 47-year-old North Kentville woman.
Criminality is not believed to be a factor in the death. The investigation is ongoing in partnership with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service under the provincial Fatality Investigations Act, with support from SWN MCU and RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
