Copeland Property Maintenance

September 10, 2026September 11, 2026thevalleyeyephotography

It was pretty neat to catch Copeland Property Maintenance in action earlier this week! Operating in Annapolis County and beyond, their work has been appreciated by many, for their professional summer and winter maintenance. I personally can’t thank Chris enough, for supporting my calendar project for the third year in a row. Adrian J.

Big shout out to Thania and the crew from the Old School Stop & Shop in Freeport! After a busy day, this delicious pizza truly hits the spot. With limited locations late in the evening they’ve come in clutch both nights so far. If you ever have the opportunity to sneak down to this area, […]

Where are you following from?

July 31, 2026July 30, 2026thevalleyeyephotography

I always find it interesting to see where my followers are viewing my page from! Earlier this week I put a survey up, allowing those to share just that. The results have been compiled, with almost half of my followers viewing my page in Kings County! Since this page was started, the focus has always […]

Each year, globally, we recognize the dedication that paramedics play in our communities. Thank you to all those who wear the EHS uniform across Nova Scotia, providing critical care to those who we love most! Many may recognize this familiar face 😊 Adrian J.

Winter works season nearing the end for 2026

March 25, 2026March 27, 2026thevalleyeyephotography

I had the pleasure, yet again this year, to capture the fine work of our provincial Public Works. The relationship I’ve been able to establish over the past few years is one I’m truly proud of. It’s a different world being in the cab of a snow plow, having to multi task behind the wheel, […]

Today marks the 10th annual Canada’s Agriculture Day!

February 10, 2026February 24, 2026thevalleyeyephotography

I’ve had the pleasure to work alongside and learn plenty about farming in our Annapolis Valley, over the past several years. For anyone who chooses this way of life, they know it isn’t optional work. Many farmers build their world around the farm, making themselves available 24/7. Farmers across Nova Scotia are an important way […]

Crews working in tough conditions

January 19, 2026January 21, 2026thevalleyeyephotography

Big thank you to all those who have been kept on their toes following heavy wet snow overnight! Public Works, Nova Scotia Power and First Responders have been working around the clock contending with a number of calls. Just under 80,000 people remain without power and crews continue to cleanup snow just after noon today. […]

There are many essential services who are enjoying the holidays away from their families. We thank all those first responders, dispatchers and a number of services who are working during this holiday season! Thankfully I’ve been able to enjoy today but back to work this evening. Please stay safe! Adrian J.
