From Department of Natural Resources at this hour:
“The Long Lake wildfires complex is still out of control and estimated at 8234 hectares. No new reports of damage. Unless there is a significant development in the fire, updates will be provided once daily moving forward.”
This is good news, while this may not be the news some want to hear, with less updates this a good indication that progress is being made.
We can only wait patiently for the word, that the fire is “being held.”
