⚠️ Early notification for extreme temps

An extended period of hot and humid weather is expected.

Time span: Monday through Wednesday.

Maximum daytime temperatures: 29 to 31 degrees Celsius (Humidex 32 to 36), except cooler along parts of the coast.

Minimum nighttime temperatures: 16 to 18 degrees Celsius.

Locations: Nova Scotia except extreme western regions.

Remarks: A humid air mass building into the Maritimes will bring an extended period of hot and humid conditions beginning on Monday. The highest temperatures and Humidex values are expected to occur inland, with cooler conditions near the coast.

Relief is expected to arrive later in the week.

Warnings will likely be issued on Sunday.
