Department of Natural Resources & Renewables & Kentville Firefighters are actively working a woods fire in the community of Coldbrook.
Crews are working along the Harvest Moon Trail behind the Coldbrook Foodland at this time.
Firefighters are battling the fire and appear to have it contained. Quite a bit of hose has been laid on the harvest moon trail so please avoid the area and allow firefighters to work safely.
No threat to any residential homes and additional fire crews are expected to arrive to assist with overhaul efforts.
Mutual aid called from Waterville, New Minas, Berwick, Hantsport & Greenwich Fire Departments to the scene.
